IR2110 Question

Can you test these driver ic’s like you can the IR21844’S?

I rebuilt an amp and without the driverboard the amp powers up if I put the driverboards back in the amp protects .

If in doubt just replace it, it's cheaper than your time.

So did replace it and not sure if it got damaged durning install or something else is causing the amp to protect

Then probably best to assume it's ok, and look elsewhere.

Are the outputs in the amp?

Is the low-side regulator producing its rated voltage?

Outputs are in the amp .

I will check to see if the low side regulator is producing the correct voltage

Is this the low voltage regulator ?

Or do you know where it’s at in an Orion HCCA 8000.1

I have nothing on this amp but the output terminal of the regulator would go to pin 3 of the 2110. You can measure between terminals 2 and 3 of the 2110. .

I see the problem now .

I overlooked the 4.7 ohm resistors they are out of tolorance

I measured between terminals 2 to 3 of the 2110 and I get 11.44 volts .

There is a problem with 1 of the driverboards since if I install it the amp protects
