hello everyone, I have a bit of known audio components, double c core transformers, capacitor resistors, accumulated over years of testing and experimentation, I would now like to assemble an audio note kit l5, would anyone be available to provide me with a schematic? I'm also available to pay for it.
Why not contact Audio Note and say you have "lost " the assemble instructions or were given the parts and need instructions?
Cant find an I5 kit ( so far ) is that the kit number or is it 15 ?

ANK Audiokits - L5 The Mentor Valve Pre-Amplifier Shunt Power Supply
Thanks Tix L5 it is ,looking at the high end construction and parts used I hope your parts are up to their standard ?
Two 5U4G,s --good big rectifiers used them many times needs 3amps at 450-0-450V but outputs 225ma---at nearly a quarter of an amp ,good for a tube rectifier ,mainly used in old high wattage tube amps.
You therefore need a VERY expensive mains transformer unless you are under-running it.
OMG ! have you seen the price of one ? No wonder you want to build a cheap version BUT it wont come up to the same audio standard as Audio Notes version --but you know that don't you ?

There must be a cheaper way to implement a shunt regulator? Seems a shame to have two 5U4G's, and hide them inside a box.🙁
