I have used the Altec 15095 to good effect. If you have an oscilloscope check the transformers and you will find that some don't perform too well and others will. You are in Europe, have you looked at Sowter as well? My recommendation is that unlike boutique resistors and caps the transformer has a large and measurable effect if it is poor. Stick to a good one.
