I have a JL1000/1 on the bench, it won't power on when remote is connected?
Internally the amp is very clean, no sign of damage or repair, none of the led indicators light up?
Any thoughts on where to start with this one?

Thanks Perry I've already found and fixed the problem.
The 8 pin preamp board plug near the power terminals had 3 loose pins on the underside of the main board.
I re-soldered them and it powered up first time.
Thank you

I've never seen that on the 10? pin header but it regularly happens on the single-row headers.
If you don't add solder, desolder and resolder, the bad connections will often return because the layer of oxide isn't completely removed.
