Quad II amps - update before selling?

Hello,

I have a set of Quad II amps with GEC KT66 tubes that I want to sell but need advice. Would I be increasing or decreasing their value if I updated the power connection to IEC input and upgraded the RCA and binding posts? It is such a classic and such classics tend to be loved as-is so I'm not sure what the market wants.

Thank you!

Leave it stock. That way a potential buyer will know that it is not messed up.
Sometimes these are purchased for resale in other parts of the world, if in original condition.
What you think is an upgrade, may not be viewed that way by a Quad fan, and it will lose value.
The original amplifier does not use an RCA socket at all, and would not be able to connect
to the matching Quad 22 preamp, if the Jones socket were changed to an RCA.
Instead, there is an adapter that plugs into the Jones socket that allows use of an RCA cable.
But, most vintage audio collectors would use it with the 22 preamp.
