Hi Guys, wondering if someone can help with my C300 that I'm finally trying to get up and running.
Situation: Basically when you switch the amp on the Red standby light comes on and then 2 seconds later the relay clicks and the light goes Green which is all normal.
Now when I switch it off the light does not go Red and the relay does not immediately switch off. There is about a 1 or 2 second delay and a thud can be heard. This is not normal as a friend has the exact same Nad.
I did the obvious checks and bit stuck as I dont know what's causing it. I will have some voltage measurements shortly from working Nad.
Thanks

I would start at Q709 and work backwards to find out where the latching is happening.
At power off, the relay should relax almost instantly.

Your diagram misses parts of the protection/mute circuitry alas...
Hi, I couldn't attach the whole schematic.

Hi, yes thats right. I'm just at my mates...
We swapped out the board that the LED is connected to and made no difference. I have attached the photo.
I tested Q709 and Q708 and it was fine! I'm in the middle of swapping some of his Nad parts with mine.
The strange thing I noticed when power off, the PT-LED voltage is normally at 0v and when off spikes up to around 5-6V then drops to 2-3Vs. My Nad does not do that! It drops to 0V when on and when off it only spikes to around 2V. I also D714 and D706 and they were both fine out of circuit!
