Musical Fidelity | V-LPSII Phono Stage
I think I accidentally tossed it into the E-Waste recycling when I cleaned up last week.
What does the collective wisdom of the forum suggest
It's only a short term solution until I can afford a new Pre-Amp with a decent phono stage

Build your own its not hard to do plenty of good high quality circuits out there and if you want simple use high quality IC,s ( in shunt feedback mode ) .
Its likely a conventional transformer + rectifier + smoothing cap generating a raw 15-18V DC, followed by a relatively simple 3- terminal, 12V regulator circuit, in order to get lowest ripple and line noise. Any supply with a long, unshielded connecting lead is not going to be very quiet so it won't be exceptional as far as power supplies go. The n'th degree of filtering would have to be in the preamp box itself.
