Need advice for ReVox B250-S

Hi to all people,
Sorry if my question is on wrong place or copy, I search but I cannot find this thread.

I have an Revox B250-S amplifier, I'm very happy with that, but it's time to replace the electrolytic capacitors. This was done, now problem is gone, but by the way, I found a couple of discussions about replacing op amps, so please let me ask you if any of you have any advice will I try to replace the existing RC5532A op amps with something better?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Leo

One of the problems you have is its input is microprocessor controlled and the microprocessor sets up the sensitivity and the settings are stored ,its designed for the 5532.

Of course you can "update it " but I would not guarantee the outcome.

Even though the chips are old none other than D.Self still thinks a lot of them and uses that type/range which he went to great trouble debating with other audio engineers.

Maybe somebody else has a different opinion and being honest I don't follow D.Self but JLH so use more up to date audio chips in my audio builds but this is a controversial subject for audio designers and it ended up --"each to their own ".
