NAD 502 spindle motor spin all the time

Nad 502 CD player.
The tray no open,no close.

The spindle motor spin all the time.

The belt is ok.
Tray motor is ok.

Missing rail would be first thought? Check them all with reference to the service manual.

Why he spin all the time?

Well a missing rail will often do that, also missing internal clock signals.

You have to troubleshoot the symptom you see in front of you which is a spinning motor. Begin at the motor and work back. The motor obviously has voltage present so look at the input to the motor drive amp and keep working back to piece all the evidence together.

Checking ALL rails is the first rule of fault-finding.
