Sorry to hear that

I'm going to jump on this thread because I bought Joel's assembled Salas Simplistic.
I actually have the boards and most parts to build this phono pre. I've gotten as far as taking the parts out of the packaging and sorting them. The project just never picked up momentum so it's going up for sale. I don't recall what I have into it but it must be worth $50 - $100 to somebody?...make an offer.
Parts kits came from TeaBag and I guess the most important thing is that the transistors are there. The storage bin is not included. Sold AS IS...dont' come crying to me if there are parts missing.

So I stop putting the parts list for the rest of the parts for dinner, my daughter gives me a haircut, and I just got back..... missed again!!
Oh well, it seems that fate would have I build my own.

Tea-Bag still has some boards I bet. This phonostage is as good as anyI have ever heard. Truly outstanding.
NO worries,
I've decided that this will be my end-game phono section, so I am upping the ante on some of the more critical parts. Damn exchange rate is killer. Two mundorf caps are $250 Cdn. NOT the gold oil, just silver oil.
