A friend of mine recently gave me a pair of HiVi F6 drivers which I plan on building powered bookshelf speakers out of.
I am looking for a good budget tweeter, preferable around or under the 30 dollar range. A couple of options I was looking at are the Morel MDT12, Morel MDT22, Dayton Audio RST28F-4, and the Dayton Audio DC28F-8.
What do you guys think, any suggestions?

The answer is Wolf's Nephila speaker which use the F6 and Airborne RT-5002. Tweeter not under $30 though.
I have a build with the Hivi f5 crossed to a lavoce 2 inch full range at around 1000hz. I cant get over the sound, ported tuned to 45-50 nice thump. I'd recommend a good sounding full range driver with it to avoid beaming. I had them in some bookshelves crossed to some tweeters around 3.5khz and had major sweet spots. Crossed lower it does not have that problem. Just my 2cents.
Those are all workable units. Another budget tweeter worth considering appears to be Peerless by Tymphany BC25TG15-04.
