Hello all, Confused...I see references to MTP20P10 / MTP20N10, and I look at mine and I see MTM20P10 MTM20N10...
I also read here that instead of chasing these impossible to find original devices, one could sub IRF240 and IRF9140, or the Fairchild FQP33N10 and FQP22P10 TO-220 mosfets
Anyone have any advice?
Also possible to just gut the amp and the chassis is sweet for a Pass jobbie...

I made mine into a PASS A40, the heatsinks are the perfect size. Signal made the original transformer for me and I sourced the original output transistors. It is now winter shop amp.

llwhtt - yup, saw that...is the Andromeda II even worth the effort quality-wise?
I was thinking more of a pair of F5's on each channel...same general idea as the original Bridged Andromeda II idea... if I put 120V mains on the 240v taps, I should have 22 - 24VDC rails

I don't know, mine was missing one complete channel and had no choice but to do something else. Trying to find matched MOSFETs in TO-3 cases will be a real PITA. I collect SAE, GAS, and SUMO but mainly JB designs so no MOSFETs.

Whoops, got that backward...that would get me to 88vdc...
