I received an amp someone spilled pop in
The amp is a sticky mess and still plays audio but sounds like garbage .
I’m gonna clean the main board with dawn and water and let it dry .
My question is how to you clean it out of the switches or should they just be replaced .

I noticed the pop on the main board and 2 switches pots appear to be fine
The pop got in 2 switches only

Switches are pretty tough, I'd flood them with something like 409, wash them out with hot water then dry quickly and flood with contact cleaner.
Dawn may work but I generally used 409 or Fantastic. Try the dawn and hot water.
Blow it out with compressed air (preferably from an oil free compressor) to get as much water from under the caps and other components (don't blow high pressure into the switches, canned air is OK) as possible. If it's hot and sunny, let that dry it. A fan helps.

Sometimes I desolder switches and clean then in a untrasonic cleaner. After that preserve them with a good contactfluid like Kontakt k61 (European brand).
