I’m just curious as to what you guys think caused these zobel networks to fail like they did.
I’m thinking a short in the speaker wires. All 4 channels have been zapped.

Were the RC networks (I don't know if they function like a Zobel in class D) before or after the output filter inductor?
After the inductors. There are four inductors. One for each channel.

I don't think shorted speakers could do that. It's likely from too much high-frequency content getting through the inductor and the filter capacitor directly across the speaker terminals for each channel. The cap could be bad or the inductor could be defective.
When you finally get the amp working, move the inductor and see if there is any intermittent noise on the corresponding speaker terminals (bridged terminals if bridgeable). Also look for any additional current draw when doing this.
