Is it possible to strip a power board and amp stage output board down completely, replacing all old parts with new parts? Both blew, was repaired, then blew again after about an hour. Thus other components must be shot. I know it'll be unwise to do this myself, but I want the get rid of them but don't want to give false info to someone else...
What if the problem is not a bad part? What if the problem is a cracked copper trace on the board?
If it were me, these would be right back on the repair bench. Clearly either an underlying cause has been missed, or substandard parts were used. Were the woofers checked at all? Two subs blowing at the same time is awfully suspicious to me - makes me think smoked voice coil --> reduced impedance --> unhappy amp.
