There are loads of pdf datasheets o n2sk170 however it isnt obvious fro many which way around the pins are being shown !

I got confused when I looked at RS Components for depletion type mosfets with higher voltage and found the Microchip ones were GSD !
I think many JFETs are interchangeable D and S, that is, they act like variable resistors and doesn’t matter. There is a designated D and S, but it works fine either way.
