I’m building one, it’s a fascinating project.
Currently awaiting chassis work, that’s always my slowest aspect.

My build is complete and it’s absolutely fantastic. Currently in system, I absolutely love it.
Also the quietest phonostage i have ever heard, and by a healthy margin. I’m powering with a Jan Didden Silent Switcher.

6L6,
Thanks. I looked at this phone amp in the past, but built the Bottlehead Eros instead. I’ve been very happy with it, but I have been finding the joys of the tube alternatives. After I put my BA-3 pre together I may make the ETF.13 LR phono my next project. As long as I’m not distracted by all the new amps from ZM and NP.

I built one. Sounds very good. Ended up using a LiFePO4 battery power supply because the standard Millet one was a bit noisy.
To answer the question of the LR phono "shootout" at ETF 2013, the winner
was a preamp made by Gerd Reinhöfer. He can not be asked any more ..
The shootout itself was inconsistent. Contestant 4 who gathered low appraisal
in round 1 did much better in round 2. Contestant 2, the final winner, had low
acclaim in round 1 and nearly the lowest consent in round 2.
Contestant 3, nearly excluded in round 1 was first in round 2 and last in round 3.
Winner of round 1 by a large margin failed and was excluded in the second round ..
All this with only 5 preamps. Generally you can not trust the results of polls like this.
