Any chance for us to step in and organise some online (onhere) sale? He was a nice chap, I would like to see if I can buy something and support his family but am in Bulgaria.
Andrew visited me here in the Scottish Borders on a couple of occasions to kindly help me with a problems I was having. He was an extremely friendly man with a very good knowledge of electronics and a natural teacher in a face to face situation. I live only about 45 minutes drive from his home and have accepted this kind invitation from his Sister.
We have quite a few DIYers in Scotland and a larger number in Northern England, so there should be some presence from fellow members.
Again, it is a great sadness that such a decent and helpful man died at such a young age.

AndrewT is missed, but he is still contributing.

To his family:
Oh my, I'm so sorry to find this out! I've been away for several years due to my health. I was looking forward to reading Andrews persistent questions on almost everything. I will miss him. Please accept my condolences. Sending warm thoughts and positiveness your way.
And yes if it could be done, I would love to participate in an online auction or sale.

Wow.
Just realised Andrew has passed away.
In shock.
Andrew was one of the most active members here.
It’s sad for us to lose him so soon.
There are no words that adequately express the sense of loss when members pass away.
RIP Andrew

The condolence thread in the In Memoriam section is testament to the impression he has left on our group.

I had the opportunity to purchase some Fets from Andrew, to my surprise when I received them the Fets were matched and graded which I did not expect. Sending my best to his family, he is one of the good ones.
