I have one of these coming to me from Japan. I could not find any source for the service manual except a Japanese blog.
Does anyone have the service manual?

Google search? How didn't I think of that...
C'mon, we are talking about the most illusive of the V-fet amps, the only amp with Hitachi made v-fets, only sold in Japan. U think that if Google search in Japanese or any other language would have produced any meaningful results, I would have posted the question here?

yes, it does, but I already have that. It is a good start, but I am thinking that someone somewhere does have the actual service manual.
The fact that this japanese blogger had to create his own schematic, tells me that it is not gonna be an easy task finding it.
edit: the June 1975 Stereo Technic magazine has the block diagram and that also helps.

I'm looking for a schematic of the HA-500F too, unfortunately the links from above no longer work (wayback machine doesn't have it either).
Maybe someone saved the schematics before they went away?

no, this is form a Japanese forum and it is the same information that was shared in this thread years ago in the earlier link that is no longer active:
Lo-D HA-500Fのメインアンプ部 – 趣味の世界
btw, IIRC there is more than one transistor symbol that needs to be corrected.
