I’d like to refresh my SE120 by replacing the power supply capacitors, rectifier bridge, and adding an inrush limiter.
I believe the stock DH120 has 6600uF 60V capacitors, and the common upgrade is 22000uF 63V. Should I look to do the same on the SE120?
Mouser has some Kemet 33000uF 63V caps for $19 a piece. They’re cheaper than the 22000’s.

Did some reading on capacitor selection and it seems like these are a nice combination of low ESR, high ripple, and price. Maybe overkill on capacitance but that seems like it shouldn't be a problem with an inrush limiter... was planning on 1 ohm 20 amp, as well as the 25 amp rectifier bridge.

Anything else I should consider replacing while I'm in there?

The kemets don’t fit, there 1/4 inch too tall because they have high terminal posts and tall screws
Old thread, but for anyone finding this thread, replace the rectifier block with a higher amperage one if you decide to put larger filter caps in. You’ll probably blow the small stick one in the DH-120. I have a 35A one in my DH-120 (same one I put in my DH-200, XL-280, and XL-600)
