after you showing picture i was reading again any hours De-Lite thread yesterday, looking Michaels L' Amp part deux, searching for 1000W Halogen sticks......so on
Most interesting for me would be SK182- sharp curves.
Drive with low voltage/high current or vice versa.
I have seen pics you show a blue box with these parts- pulled out from old
machines......man. 😱
But money...money...money...don't can dance everywhere...🙁.

Light bulb needs adequate voltage rate, power, and resistance to work perfectly.
Absolutly the big SIT's are fascinating semi's.
Hope for new tested & verified class A schematics amplifiers to build.

Tubes do have a wonderful appeal. I have a SET using EL34's that almost
duplicates the SIT-2. Power, distortion, damping are very similar. Bandwidth
is wider on the SIT.

Carefully matched AB into a pair of OB Voxatives shows only small difference,
not enough to care about.

Of course that was largely the point of the SIT-2.
