Unless my rapidly fading memory has coughed up another klinker, this is an OEM Denon DP-80 integrated motor/controller/platter assembly, which in its day was arguably the only direct-drive table which was in the same league as the Linn, Transcriptor, or Mitchell belt-drive machines.

Its PPL servo speed regulation, AC motor, and insanely complex bearing made it extremely quiet and very stable - with a quality arm and a DL-103 cartridge this was my favorite turntable.

A very cool piece of audio arcana - which could probably hold its own today as a quality playback device.

Sadly, my 2+ TB of digital music would most likely auto-erase if it entered the house,, but someone really needs this.
