Hello
HYS3C300 Power supply comes from an active subwoofer (Canton sub 600) and supplies power amplifier in class "D" and the preamplifier. I do not know the history of this failure and I do not know how the injury occurred.
With the power supply goes -7V symmetric + STB and power for the sake of power amplifiers (+ V GND) estimate of it is about 50V
The power supply will not boot no voltage + -7V output. I measured the bridge rectifier is checked 325VA DC fast diodes for the coincidence of the STB are working, t8 transistor (mosfet) to the original approx.
I'm stuck in a place because I have a problem with the identification of the part indicated by IC3 is 6 feet smd is written on it 32D06 if anyone knows what kind of system I would be grateful for information about him, visually no damage. What else should I check? Maybe someone has a diagram of a power supply with a similar topology that would have helped me a lot (If you have an oscilloscope available)
Adding photos PSU
Ps. I apologize for an error that says the translator

Hi!
I am having the same issues here with an HYS3C300 from a Monster Speakers (Clarity Model One HD).
Did you find a solution?
Thanks in advance.

i have the same problem.. mine burned mistakenly pluging in a 220v outlet which my divice only rated 110v.. luckyly only the green disk componet next to a rectifier is damaged.. label is completly burned and imposible to identify the component.. has anyone figured it out?
Can someone please identify the VR1 "Green Disk" component next to the rectifier? Mine burned and is completely unreadable. My board is marked either HYS3C160-CS or HYS3C210-CS

if 32D06a is WS3252, you can buy it here

Thanks for photos. They helped me to identify resistor values.
Here is reverse engineered part of schematics diagram.
Also some photos of my blown components.
Instead of blown CS1N60 MOSFET I've successfully used STQ2HNK60ZR-AP
Reason for blown components was failure of diode on secondary side. Very standard 1A diode went short. I like good quality of sound after fix 🙂

I see these power supplies all the time in Sunfire SDS subwoofers. Most have no main voltage output but +-7 volts are present. I just can never get my head around the fault.

I found a brand new one of these I forgot I had. A jumper does turn it on. One of the broken units powers up then dies.

So I guess the jumper is not the best way to turn it on. If i plug in the amp board the broken one works. I did previously replaced D1 which was shorted.

Thx Tonebells !!!
Had the same problem , replacing D1 was the solution.

I had another bad D1. Now I need to figure out what regulates the -7volts. It is around -11volts and the amp is all white noise.

I know this is an old thread, I believe thats a varistor VR.hys3c210-cs
