I'm looking for some clubs(or anything of the sort) in North Carolina, preferbly east of Raleigh. I'm on the coast 🙁 Just looking for some experience dudes to learn from 😀
There may be something in Raleigh area, but I have not seen it.
I started a Carolina Audio mailing list, but it's been almost dead, very little traffic. Seems the Tar Heel audiophiles are all stuck at home. 🙁

If there is, I am in. You got to promise not to tell my wife😀 I know there are quite a few members around.
Google "Triangle Audio Society". Looks like the latest information is here:

I would love to participate, but getting enough people together and getting organized ia tough. I have many friends who are into HiFi, but none who are in DIY.
Hi All - I have been looking through this forum in the hopes of finding someone local (28327). I am not electronics literate... but a little "tinkery." I got an old amplifier at an estate sale (POA-2800). It was working. I took it apart to replace a broken rca connector. I did that and blew out excessive dust with compressed air. Put it back together and now the protection circuit is stuck in safe mode. I suspect that whatever help I get will be over my head. That's why I thought I would see if I can find someone who understands electronics in the area. (I work at Ft. Bragg). Anyone close that's up for physically looking at my amp with me?
