Hi,
Just picked up a Denon DCD-3560 CD Player.
Beautifully made but possibly troublesome due to a Laserunit that is no longer made Sony KSS-151a and the two belts that drive the disctray.
I think those belts must be replaced because the tray opens and closes very cumbersome.
I also have the servicemanual where on page 38 you can see an Exploded View of FG-621 Mechanism Unit with a accompanying Partnumberlist.
The two belts are numbered:
27: BELT A: 423 0046 209 (top belt viewable when you open the disctray)
42: BELT B: 423 0047 004 (belt under the subchassis that actually drives the open/close mechanism)
In the attached picture Belt A seems to be square but in the player itself it's round.

Belt B seems to be a square one but Belt A that I've already seen is a round belt.
I ordered Belt A with exactly the same referencing number as in the official partlist but got a square belt.

I have had several DCD-3560 and yes those belts are readily available at Consumer Electronic Parts and Accessories at PacParts, Inc. for $4.16+tax+$11.50(shipping) in USA. Since I service Denon cd players, I used to buy 30 at a time. I can sell you a pair for $15.00 for USA.
It's a beautiful cd player and one of my favorites. You should definitely replace all analog stage opamps and capacitors.

Do you happen to know if the Denon DCD 3500RG uses the same belts as the 3560. or is the drawer mechanism different? In any case, could you be of help getting hold of the 3500RG drawer belts? Thx!

I have had from new a DCD 3560, as expected it needs help closing the door now and many tries to open it. (wsjoe) do you still have the 2 belts I need. The door one especially. Complication maybe, I am in Ontario Canada, but they should fit in an envelope?
