Or in plain English - Fixed Or Repaired Daily. Or Found On Road Dead. However, that has not been my particular experience since I’m a Truck Person. Not all Mustangs are created equal. There were many years there where all you could get was a real POS.
For the intended market - local commuter traffic in Europe - Fiat might have been ok. But driving the **** out of one in the US isn’t typically good for it, for sure.

I had two Mustang Convertibles, a 1966 and a 1999 both were good cars. Any Mustang from the late 70's to the mid 90's were best called Rustangs, at least in South Florida where I lived. There were a bunch of "Stang Bangers" that hung out at the kids house across the street. It seems that there was always one or two dead Mustangs in their front yard.
My 99 Stang is hiding behind 7.2L of REAL horsepower.

Not real funny pictures. A hurricane named Irene came to visit us in 1999. The entire neighborhood was flooded. The "funny" is the fact that all three of the Mustangs in these pictures have bags over their heads. My 1966 is wearing the fashionable blue bag in my yard across the street. It was completely dry inside when I opened it up. The 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Convertible seen hiding behind the red minivan however was full of water and had to be towed to the dealership where it spent most of its life, in non-running condition. Once it was fixed again, I traded it in on the 99 Mustang which went 10 years with ZERO repairs other than tires, front brakes and a battery.
Hurricane or not, the US Mail gets delivered! A few hours later the rain stopped. There is a 641/2 Mustang to my right and a 68 to my left. Both are wearing generic grey bags! Both took some work after the storm, but the brown Comet fired right up and was relatively dry inside.

My sisters first car back in 1972 in Massachusetts, USA was a 1966 mustang 6cyl that she bought for $600.00.

Yes, the performance versions maybe. Mine wasn't. It had a loud, uncultivated 1.1 litre 32 kW »Kent« engine, a rocket-like gas consumption, but for sure not a rocket's acceleration.
