The next thing she knew, things got out of control and she couldn’t open the car door.
And now she’s missed that sale. Someone’s gonna pay for this!
Hmmph!

What about the train conductor/pilot—idiot too?
Who knows, perhaps had a ptsd episode.
I would conjecture that the car decided to pass the train on the right, assuming that the train would swerve left to avoid a collision. The music playing on the car radio was, "The Tracks of My Tears".
Along with the next 20 stuck behind him lolBut the train is late for sure now.
Maybe. These are very long trains that don't stop on a dime. More likely the car driver saw an opportunity to squeeze in front but miscalculated the train's speed .What about the train conductor/pilot—idiot too?
They aren’t that long, but they still take more than 100 feet per 10 mph to stop, even with the braking motors. There seem to be more motorist-train accidents with these little commuter trains than with the big freight diesels or the Amtraks that share their tracks. I guess their cute little whistles don’t say GTFOOW quite like a 135 dB air horn.
I can't remember who won between the traction engine and the 042 traction engine in the Titfield thunderbolt, but that was staged.Trains always win.
Tom
Perhaps a big plowing engine would be more of a match.
Then there's always Godzila.

I don't see one of those in that pic. What about the train conductor/pilot—idiot too?
Same thing as those who pass a semi on the right just after it moved over to the left to make room to turn right. I watched one of those happen live not too long ago. Early evening, and a young fella in Dad's Mercedes. I think he was from Richmond. (local joke)
