It's a site setting, and here for desktop it seems your browser window needs to be 1200+ pixels wide for the right columns to show. Mobile likely won't show (doesn't on iPhone). Tablet may show, may depend on orientation.

at 1280 pixels wide (I think) there is nothing on the right for me. Will check later on another display.
Oh I found it, it's now like a little open menu bar just beneath it.
For me MacOS with Safari or Chrome and sidebar disabled the threshold is over 1200 - 1201 I see it, under I don't.

Yes, I see the same. 1200-1201. I was thinking screen resolution, but of course the browser window will normally be a little smaller
I like this improved version with atachment in the PM. The swap was well managed by the ITs. Few problems is the norm, nothing important to complain.

This is part of an overall vibe where what diyAudio is interested in is the last post in a thread, but the software and design is pulling us towards a paradigm where the first post is most important. We have big long technical threads where the first post is not that important, the discussion that ensues is what is important.
As time goes on, we'll be able to steer the software towards what is important for our community and our unique way of doing things.

@Jason From the main screen, you are right, that works fine! I have a habit of visiting the forum through the subscribed thread page first to see what is new in my watched thread. If the new posts were accessible from that screen with a single click, that would be awesome for me. If not, I can live with that🙂
Appears to be working well - so much easier to navigate now, thank you. I don't know if you captured it, but the News feed functionality under Profile appears to have been disabled or changed. This should display posts made by people one follows, but it goes to /community instead.
A short question to the e-mail notification: when I receive the notification, I have read the post already a long time ago, mostly there is a difference of some hours between post and e-mail. Should it work that way with such delay?
Appears the 901-1200 break point was added which helps a lot. Any plans to add the 651-900 break point? That would allow the right hand columns to be viewed in portrait mode on mobile.
In mobile Chrome on an iPhone, when I get a notification on a watched thread (say there are 3), I see number 3 on the little bell. At the same time, I see number 3 on the icon of the user menu as well. Nothing really important - but is that intentional?
And I have another one - in the old forum, clicking in the new posts area always took me to the new post in that thread no matter how many times I clicked it. Now, it takes me there only for the first time. When I click it for the second time, it brings me to the first post in the thread, since it is already marked as read. And there is no page navigation on top of the page (again, mobile Chrome on an iPhone), I need to scroll down to get the "go to last page" button.
