Thanks for the work done! For me every thing is working as expected in MacBook Air with Mac OS Monterey and Safari.
Kind regards, rekenaar

+1 Where are the vendor forums? The link to them in the menu is broken.
They are in the forum menu in the commercial section.

I am missing the spelling check
The forum never had spell check. On my machine it is the OS (and the browser using the OS) that gives spell-check functionality.

Good to know dave. Than it was either the browser or the system that did it an cannot apply it to the new system, for whatever reason.
Thx

When the display is filtering by new posts it won’t show posts you’ve read, or posts you’ve written, as neither are new to you.I don’t see my SCG thread in the Pass Labs forum showing up on the front page with new posts. Not that I need the extra attention but thought I might point it out. Maybe it is a setting I have missed?
I'm getting used to it... I still don't like changes, but it's not bad and I'm sure it will grow on me more as I use it.

Hard to improve on a great layout. The original is more coherent. This takes more steps to arrive.
That's exactly what I am talking about. They are in the forum menu in the commercial section.

Forums Menu --> Commercial Sector --> Vendor Forums links to https://www.diyaudio.com/community/categories/vendor-forums.73/
When I click that link, I get:
"The requested category could not be found."
Gotcha, thanks! I was used to the older one, but all good. When the display is filtering by new posts it won’t show posts you’ve read, or posts you’ve written, as neither are new to you.
edit: huh, but this post that I just made bumped this thread to the top of my front page. Odd.

The front page is all posts with no filter. If you click the hamburger to the right of Members, and select New Posts, you'll see there is a default filter of 'unread' applied to the list.
It's been setup a bit confusing here. I'm sure they'll work through make it more consistent.
I don't like the idea that all attachments can be seen by the public. I will try not to attach anything personal from now on.
I'm curious the issue? Anyone could register an account in about a minute and see all the attachments they wanted.I don't like the idea that all attachments can be seen by the public. I will try not to attach anything personal from now on.
It basically makes all our information accessible to the 'outside' world. I have shared information to the diyaudio.com community, but now it is being shared to the whole world via google etc.I'm curious the issue? I'm going to contact admin to see if I can change my (real) username to something much more private like yours.
Rob.

Mine is my real name 🙂
I'll be very happy when we fix the quote button again. All these ugly quotes of the entire message just above. Yuck!
Horrible visual clutter. Completely unneeded. So many forums are unreadable because of nested quotes. It's taken a lot of hard work to keep this forum clean.
Sad to see Tapatalk not supported anymore. While the web interface is equivalent, Tapatalk has the advantage of native notification right on the phone. Getting notification emails is just not the same (and doesn't seem to work at the moment)
It's in the top RHS of the only page I thought you'd want to use it (this was my decision), which is: https://www.diyaudio.com/community/whats-new/postsIt will get some getting used to, but I think in general I am happy. I am missing the "Mark all forums read" button. I am almost sure I saw it somewhere... In the old forum, I used it a lot from the Quick Links menu which was accessible at any page IIRC. I saw this mentioned in some older posts in this thread. I still fight to find that button. For individual forums, I could find it quite easily.
However if it has practical purpose elsewhere, please let me know and we can make it more accessible.
I think I like it with more. Less traffic to the forum through because you can see the whole post, so perhaps less interaction as well. If more people complain, we'll look into it.I see in email notification of subscribed thread that pictures are displayed and in general more of the post that triggered the notification.
We are not really happy with how the whole filters thing is working, and I agree sort order should be more accessible. For phase 2 we may ditch filters and definite categories and swap to using tags, but much research work has to be done before then.Figured out that on desktop, Filters is accessible only if you've side bar enabled.
