That may depend on the level of advancement. Do you notice the size and capacity difference of computers from the early days to now? Perhaps the same concept can be applied to transportations...
They could also have some advanced tech (wouldn't that be the case by default if they were intergalactic?) to hide from our sensors. Just 60 years ago we couldn't imagine an aircraft that can hide from radar but they're here.

Moore's Law is computer specific and can not be applied to transportation.
My understanding is that Moore's law describes the number of transistors on a die.
So it's not inherently computer specific, but there's not really an analog reason for millions of die transistors.
If the space visitors' technology is meant for stealth, it needs some tweaking. 🙂

A computer doesn't have to carry food or water. In order to sustain life, wouldn't you need something big? Sure you may have stealth but whatever it is it has to carry people and all the supplies for a long journey.

“Hiding” might be a bankrupt concept in this regard. The data recovered from reactions to various degrees of exposure might be exactly what is being gathered and the logic behind this may be unfathomably opaque to us.

No need for live beings though - only probes with relatively simple AI are required.
The memory chips in my household are all part of a computer.
