US Naval pilots "We see UFO everyday for at least a couple of years"

I think it would be likely that if Lentz Solitons were possible, that they would exist as a natural phenomena in the Universe where there are plenty of materials, interactions, and sources of huge amounts of energy. Usually, if something is possible, we will find evidence of it somewhere in the universe. Somebody should have a go at predicting what form they may take, where they might occur and how they maybe detected / observed since there would likely be a Nobel Prize in it. On the other hand, without such evidence there will be more skepticism in the theory.

No reports of anal probings either.

I think similarly, regarding why the military is seeing the objects so frequently. They are controlling where, when, how and by whom they are seen. While, not being seen otherwise. Flashing, or shining colored lights at random civilians, and the rare population center. Cat-and-mouse with fighter jets, as well as hide-and-seek with ship radar, are also good examples.

It's hard to believe that the Navy can be fooled by simple flying birds or conventional drones or weather balloons. If it were conventional crafts, it wouldn't be that hard for the F18 to fly up to them to have a good look. Anyway not having any hard data, the only thing we can do is to speculate.

I like this quote as it bears on this conversation and cuts both ways:
I think anyone can be fooled, and the Navy isn't excluded. It's made up of human beings also.

The salient point seems to me to be thus: who is being fooled and exactly what are people being fooled into (if they are indeed being fooled)?

I don’t see a lot of UFOs = aliens from the “UFOs are real” camp but perhaps I speak only for myself

There are a total of 144 incidents on the DOD reports. These were not random incidents. They were carefully reviewed by the Navy. I don't think it would have made the list if it was something from somebody got fooled. It requires a chain of events in which everybody got fooled.

Carefully reviewed by the Navy and determined to be... unidentified aerial phenomena.
If that's all I determine it to be, I don't see how any of us are "being fooled."
I'm going to rule out natural and terrestrial phenomena before I get to the fantastic stuff, alien guardians and time/inter-dimensional travel. YMMV.

That "guy", to whom you so derisively and ignorantly refer, is Carrier Fighter Squadron Commander(Ret.), Fravor. If you knew anything about his incident, which, you obviously don't, you would know that he, and his Wingman, (so, a total of FOUR eyewitness Naval officers) were diverted from a training mission, to the object by shipborne Aegis radar.

A pile of nonsense, masquerading as cogent analysis. Your post reads more like a plea for attention, than something which protrays any rational thought process. Try again - next month.

Mr David Fravor was obviously spooked by his experience, and adroitly jumped to the conclusion, "I can tell you, I think it was not from this world"...a mighty conclusion from an Unidentified Flying Object to that of an "Identified flying object" The particular Youtube "interview" I saw had Mr Fravor dressed in his old uniform...Fravor has been retired from the military since 2006, fifteen years ago now? Most retirees have expanded their waistlines by now, suprising it still fits!
David is now "making the rounds" within the UFO believers circuit, no doubt collecting speaking fees...
The AN/SPY-1 phased array radar used has a history of resolution that can be cranked up so high as to pick up swarms of flying insects....one can imagine radar operators talking amongst themselves, "it's bearing 325 degrees, nineteen miles, can't you see it?...up your resolution" Operator 2 , "oh yeah, there it is..."
And yes I read the account, thank you.

How do you suppose one goes about this without reviewing the body of circumstantial evidence?

That’s quite a claim and I look forward to evidence. Before you do that, what’s the threshold that is acceptable for Fravor to be reimbursed? Is any amount damning, or is room and board / gas expenses allowable? I’m trying to nail down these goalposts.
