DIY Sony VFET lottery discussion

I started to write a post, but rhthatcher nailed it. Thank you DIYA!!

Absolutely. Wow, super cool. I'm one of those "never wins anything..." people. No one is a loser as a Pass Labs devotee, with all the wonderful circuits that we've had fun building over the years with the constant encouragement and education of Mr. Pass. There are some very smart and dedicated people here, always ready to share their knowledge and advice with others. Proud to be a part of it... Now, let's see what this whole "VFET" thing is about.....

Thanks to Papa, Mark, Jason, Jim and friendly DiyAydio Team peoples and all Diyers who participated.
Lottery part 1 was an exciting evenement and so much enjoyment!!
Amazing news today I am on the winners list Haha!
My intention is to offer this legendary Vfet kit buy possibility to one new subscriber 2021 or 2020 confirmed by minimum one finished Pass DIY build and please chosen by Jason.

Thanks again for all fabulous work! Have a nice day :cheerful:

The Mersenne Twister random number generation algorithm was used ...

I knew there was something beyond your love of audio that I appreciate, Jason! It's not too often that people tell you which particular pseudo random generator they use for things 😀

My thanks and appreciation to Nelson, and everyone here that had a hand in pulling off this herculean task in such a smooth and well thought out manner! What nice news with which to start the day!

:worship:

Wow, this lottery caper really brightened up my past few days and took my mind off the other stuff going on in the world.

Well done to the winners. Thanks to Jason, Nelson and the team.

Now fingers crossed for the N-Channel lottery! or being able to source some usable FETs for the open builds when they become available.

Thanks again to all involved. Years ago, I bought one of the original VFET kits, but I was too intimidated to build it, and sold it on to another forum member. Here we are in 2021, and, thanks to that great Store solder, nothing scares me anymore. (To be fair, not having to do any mains wiring also helps.)

Very much looking forward to this - Pat
