So because you are not sure you just assume his oral Chlorohexidine mouth wash had fluoride in it? SMDH LMAO
I know there are prescription tooth paste with higher fluoride content but what does that have to do with his chlorohexidine mouth wash?😕
Sorry, I confused chlorhexidine (not chlorohexidine, btw) with cetylpyridinium chloride used in Crest mouthwashes in the US. I did not realize that it was rx only in the US and so the only other logical reason for a mouthwash to be rx would be fluoride content like the toothpastes.
COVID-19 isn't particularly unique in this aspect, lots of pathogens do their best to stick
Okay - my mistake - I thought you were implying that it is unique in this aspect - or the "velcro" aspect is a particular feature of the COVID-19 due to the corona arrangement.
I see the topic is heating up again, so I'll bow out now and go measure my pump motor DC voltage -

Just don't asphyxiate yourself please 🙂.

So if a mod is unfair I just have to accept it? If so why even have rules if its not fair?
Absolutely. Moderators are only unfair by your viewpoint. We act for the greater good of the entire forum, and it's a team effort. So you're dealing with a team, not an individual.
Same as a viewpoint you may hold that doesn't agree with most members. Stating it once is fine, pushing that point will generally cause problems. Especially if it doesn't agree with established science.

Its not my view point. Its the FORUM RULES!!!!!!diyAudio Rules
Calling someone an idiot and asshat is violating rule number one, is it not?
Ever here of discretion? You're still here after all.
Yes its an excuse to BEND forum rules. Oh snap an INTIMIDATION tactic which once again is breaking forum rules. It says you cant intimidate others especially with threats.
'See, that was humor. You completely missed it.
So your humor is acceptable but mine aint? LOL riddle me this bat man. LMAO
Hi DMLBES,
Apparently some folks are funny, and some aren't. Your observations seem to bear that out.

Some slightly positive news. It was not possible to reinfect rhesus macaques that had recovered and were rechallenged with the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
Reinfection could not occur in SARS-CoV-2 infected rhesus macaques | bioRxiv

I'll do my time in the sin-bin if you would just be quiet ffs. 🙂
No I don't want you to go to the (what a name to call it) sinbin. My beef is not with you its with the mods unfairness. I have seen a lot of people on here break so many rules but if that person is liked nothing is done about it but if they don't like you they sin bin you for every little thing. I was told I have to follow the rules yet everyone else gets a free pass or gets to break them why? Because they wont protest the unfairness of this site? It seems people are oppressed by the powers that be and just follow what ever they say even if the mods themselves break the rules no says anything and or are AFRAID to speak out against the powers that be.

So are we going by what majority of others find funny and not forum rules? You are the type to egg someone on and then bann them for retaliating.

Wouldn't the people that already had the covid19 virus be immune to it?
Hi DMLBES,
I'm just responding to your comments in a manner that I normally post in as a member.
You don't seem to understand the role of a moderator or what we do. We only act as moderators when you see the cop hat. Otherwise we are normal members with a lot of extra (unpaid) work to do. Also, when acting as a moderator, we don't ban anyone. That is a team decision, so most of us have to agree with the action. Our actions as a moderator are always subject to peer review as well.
I've been straight with you for one. So maybe re-read my responses from that viewpoint and reconsider your conclusions. Also, if you make noise, expect to get some back from other members in response.
It would also be helpful for you to consider the title of the thread:"Science-based, no politics COVID-19 thread". So you will find resistance to holistic treatments as they are pretty much excluded from discussion by the title. You're way O.T. with those posts, ie .. you're in the wrong here.

Well, that's usually the case. What's not known is for how long.
The reason that study was done with the macaques is because there are numerous reports from Wuhan of people being "reinfected". The question is - are they being reinfected or is it just a relapse because the virus was not fully cleared? Relapse is understandable, if it's reinfection that seems like bad news for us.
