For the budget connoisseur, Bushmills Black Bush or basic Tullamore DEW are quite nice. I've never ventured to - or been gifted with - any of the special 10 /12/ 15yr or Warehouse Specials, etc. Perhaps that's a good thing?
There was, when we visited Bushmill Distillery a few years ago a special offer on the 12 yo. It was said that it could only be purchased at the distillery.
