It appears to me that the F4 amplifier has many of the traits Nelson is talking about. That is one FW amplifier I have not built.

I just watched part two of Nelsons talk and the R085/IRFP9240 output stage it got me thinking:

This mismatch of parts should be something like how you can tinker with symmetry on the F6 right? But in the form of matching different parts instad of just playing with degerneration?

Makes me want to try to build an F6 with an R085 on top but a normal mosfet on the bottom.
