A very good question. Perhaps it would be best to build first the second channels and then to build housing for all the amplifier...

Interesting that you like A9 more than SR100 😀 I don't know, I have heard many amps like A9. So far, no opamp can rock my boat 😀
op-amp is nothhing but a bunch of transistors and resistors in a small package...you just can't see them. 🙂 would you say that the blind test confirm your opinion?
I don't need blind test. I have built many amps. Whenever I build an amp, upon completion I listen to it. I can be horrified. Or I can be amazed but still I know that I don't want it. So what do you think are these decisions come from?? 🙂 Just like when you bought a bread, eat a little and then throw away the rest, you don't need a blind test to decide what to do 😀
Opamp based amp that interest me the most is the class-A Calor Gold by Boraomega. Because he seems to like the design and I have built many of his amps.
Still championing the DOGC-H? 😉
I had the component side couldt print as a PDF or JPG in sprint layout as a single layer. But looks good. have fun.

Ahem! Is it save without using speaker protector? Especially with opamp rolling??
dogc-mk3 and dogc-h were one of the first searious amplifiers i have listened and/or assembled and that was 6-7 years from now. untill than i have assembled clepsidra,standard(preamps), studio-se,sigma and lambda from Bora and his sige and ome ver. of Leach are half assembled. from Mile APEX i did A11,A12,D200.1, F100,G100,H23,NX16, and his MM/MC preamp is at begining. there is also Symasym and mongrel cx1,3 . all of those (except Standard preamp) are discreet projects, i also did BatoMM bridged LM3886 with remote sense,and two versions of lme49820 driving mosfet(vertical and horisontal) + BJT hybrid also with remote sense.

today i might finish APEX A23 pcb's...

after all of those amplifiers i naturally have a few favorites that sound great on ALL sorts of music but i also have a few more dedicated to a certain sort of music. let's say that APEX AX12 sounds the best with reggae...

i like to built amplifiers, and for sure the best amplifier is the one that just successfully had his first run, the real impression comes after some time of listening all sorts of music so i will have an opinion about A23,but for a month or more.

i appreacheate your opinion, specially because it is formed on experience. it would be bad to have an opinion based on some once 's else thoughts, that is all i say 🙂
So I am done with this amp.. I used preamp and transformer from original.. for premap was used dual PSU with LM337 and 317 ... I need solve problem with very little hum.. any idea with grounding , because there is no ground wire.. (two wires only for 220V)
