Don't forget, he modded an older piece of equipment to increase it's range, but neglected to fix the ground loop problem inherent in the design. As a result, the testing produced artifacts that had nothing to do with the DUT, but rather, the equipment.
That depends on how close to the machine limit you get, and especially if one is trying to go beyond the machine limits. Unfortunately, doing that is full of surprises, rarely good or accurate.

Acoustic dispersion does not refer to coverage angle! It is used to describe how the frequency components propagate differently.
360 degrees of coverage is quite inadequate as a sphere is 360 x 180 degrees.

A good friends teenage daughter received a Grammy for best new Jazz musician, she started playing vinyl a couple months ago and is just Stoked. He asked and we are putting together something for her to use as her own rig.
Then another Friend with a few TT's used to take a thrill out of taking youngsters and showing them big CD's (this is what my kids used to call them when they were young) , last year his grandkids visited with a friend and he did his usual routine, to his surprise their friend said , yeah ,we know what it was and they listen to LP's every week at another friends house, the look on his face was priceless.. 🙂

Not exactly , it's more like Efi is here, now throw away your weber carburetors, carb sales dwindle to non existence , factories close and disappear and suddenly 30yrs later carb sales are coming back , doubling in sales yearly, new factories are opening , auto designers are now requesting them and young new car buyers find them interesting enough to tick the option box on a product most thought was dead.
