Noob confused on part #

Hi,

I am getting some parts for the DAC from Singapore and have come across 2 variants of the L1part of the Subbu DAC power supply unit (CHOKE, COMMON MODE, 300OHM, 5A):

1. TDK - ACM7060-301-2PL
2. TDK - ACM7060-301-2PL-TL01

The BOM sheets says TDK - ACM7060-301-2PL-TL01, but that part is not in stock in Singapore.

Will TDK - ACM7060-301-2PL work? They have that in stock.

ACM7060-301-2PL - TDK - CHOKE, COMMON MODE, 300OHM, 5A | element14 Singapore

Hi, I haven't got anything to do with the PCB GB regarding distribution but Subbu just got home after a 5 week business trip abroad. He is now with his family. I really would like not to bother him with emails etc.

So maybe the best answer is this: send me a PM with your full address and I'll send you one of my PCBs. That will be a beta version with possibility for 3 x 2 mm XO's if you want to try those. It can also be used with 7 x 5 mm XO's as the normal V3 board. Apart from that they're equal, we later decided to skip the 3 x 2 mm XO's as we didn't have the time to test. It is also gold plated.

BTW I never got email from you AFAIK. Or is it that you ordered from Korben ? Please provide more info as I am swimming in the dark. "Anything" does not exactly ring a bell...

The power button with a LED 😀 is just arrived, the USB - SPDIF with CM6631A just arrived too. The case is not over, but the sound is very impressing, delicious and very tasty for my ears, everything is so nice when you listen to a song with this DAC as a source ... Great job Jean Paul & Co.

Happy holidays everyone,

I received all the parts (Thank you Phil 🙂) but I need a bit of help to get it up and running.

I somehow missed the BOM and I'm not confident enough to buy a transformer myself, I live in the EU (Denmark = 230v) if someone could direct me to the right transformer I'd be very grateful.

either one of these will do.

or if you are ordering from mouser then look for: Tamura 3FD-316

or the myrra types usually can be found on ebay.
