nice find😉

Real physicists run a Gedanken experiment in their head and decide not to bother to read the 'test results'. Their reasoning is simple: if a simple interconnect could do what is claimed for it then much of current electromagnetic theory is wrong, yet it is by far the best attested (by real scientific experiments, not to mention all our modern technology) of all scientific theories. If a potential divider (for that is what a short audio cable is) does not work as expected then we can throw circuit theory out of the window. Now some people would be happy at this, but real scientists and real engineers know it would be quite silly.

Exactly 🙂 now for those that didn't stay awake during class or are self taught "engineers", you are free to make up how things work to your heart's content and sell quantum tunneled audio thingies to the gullible.

Thanks guys for the 'heads-up' on the Supercords. I will send the info to Jack Bybee, and maybe he will buy one, just to see how it compares with his cords.
Of course, REAL ENGINEERS (or physicists) read the test results as well, before rejecting something out-of-hand! '-)

Of course real engineers (or physicists) realise that if there equipment is affected by the mains lead then its time for them to hang up there lab coat and get a job at McDonalds.

Of course anyone with one iota of honesty will decry that £3000 plus mains lead as a total rip off and scam. No info of any worth anywhere (apart from some dodgy EMC results). And may I remind you that EMC is a BIG problem so any super doper ways of combating it would be sellable to the whole world of electronics, but no same old patent applied for supper doper ways of combating it with discs (PCB material with what in-between) and no technical information what so ever. Of course the rest of us poor mortals working on very high tech electronics have to make do with substandard information from the likes of:

.... power cords in the real world often form a parallel star grounding system between system components worth consideration at least on a theoretical level. Others chortle about power station copper.

Maybe a look at who I linked to purposely I may already have considered that point. Power cords on there own are not going to solve the problem, and bespoke £3000 plus cords are going to be no different than a good quality competently engineered cord. Of course you can always fit a ferrite that will supress a lot of conducted noise, then there are all the things you can do add filters at the front of the power supply, its quite a well studied field, but only in the world of Audio do cables like this exist with all there magical abilities to get power from a socket to a piece of equipment, its a ridiculous amount of money to pay, with no real proof of any benefits.

Some more interesting stuff on grounding...

Jack Bybee just told me that he also wants to come over to listen as well, when I finally get things in order. Maybe I can get you two to meet when you come by. It is about time!

Be careful that some overzealous detractor moderator does not suspect that you are a sockpuppet for Jack Bybee.😉😀😀

Seriously though, one of the best Hi Fi sounds I have heard was a pair of Wilson Puppies + Watts, driven by a Be Yamamura mono amp set. [It was not to my taste as it lacked any etherial nuance in acoustic music....but it was blindingly better than 98% of top endsystems I have heard, including many 'best, money no object systems in Italy]. I hope your new speakers arrive soon and do the business for you. Just hope that they are not lime green!

Here is the deal. The cords have no value. It takes energy to pick them up or plug them in, and it takes bad character to sell them to another. One shouldn't like such things or dislike them ad I do. A better man than I would be indifferent, but I am assuming we yet to look out for each other here.

Brianco, I am surprised that you might think that I am overly representing Jack Bybee. Heck, he calls me almost every day, and we talk about things that I will not bring up here.
However, he did think that the MEASUREMENT of those exotic line cords was a good technique. They REALLY do something that is measurable. Is it important that they do what they do for most of us? I doubt it, but STILL, they do what they do. To say that they have 'no value' is an insult to the engineers and physicists who designed them.
