We get your point, Tekko. You have made it many times over. Could you please drop it? 😀
We support freedom of speech here. Just let him continue to blare his dislike and anger with Lepai. Maybe he is too stressed at work and needs to let off steam badly.
By the way, his comments can be a good source of entertainment with alternative viewpoints. I actually enjoy reading them. 😀

One thing for sure, it definitely sounds cleaner and quieter than those gigantic vintage amps I had built.
You know this is pure BS! There is nothing in existance that sound worse than the lepai garbage!!

No i will not drop it until this forum is lepai free and all of its members agree with me that lepai is pure garbage and that pre filter feedback class d is bad.
If in your future posts you could use the the lepai as an anti-pattern and discuss its implementation in relation to the TA2020 datasheet and modern high speed pcb layout I don't think anyone here would mind.
But telling everyone that the pos amp they bought for a pos price is a pos is not a great learning experience, it's at waste of breath.

I want everyone who have bought one of these to put it in the trash and get rid of it, or atleast take a hammer to it and destroy it.
Why do you bother to open the Lepai thread if you dislike them so much?I want everyone who have bought one of these to put it in the trash and get rid of it, or atleast take a hammer to it and destroy it.
It is not helping your blood pressure or your image.😀
Perhaps you need to get out and join the real world and meet friends, drink beer and joke around instead of being tied to your computer waiting for a fight.Because the name "Lepai" sticks out like a hot soldering iron to my eyes :/

You really should go see a therapist about control issues (as well as some apparent anger issues). Seriously. To expect everyone to agree with you is....well you just have issues.
@Tekko - yes this amp might not be up to your standards, and the quality of the components used and the build quality is not great - but for the price it is more than adequate! You are right there is no worse sounding amp in this price category - the reason being is that there is none available at this price point.
And it is certainly better than many of the crap sounding plastic soundbars that flooded the market from many major brands...
What do you expect at this price point?
Good quality Volume pot is at least $6 - $10
- half the price of this unit...
You might not like it but at this price folks will be buying these...
Cheers!

If I missed this in an earlier post please excuse me, but, where are you finding these for $15? Is this with the preferred power supply or is the separate? Would you mind providing links to both?
Thanks in advance.

Ah... You have given us a fantastic idea!!! Lepai should rebrand their amps to "Tekko" LP-2020A+... 😀

Guys,
Let Mr. Tekko vent his dislike and anger. We shall give him the honor to provide this forum with his rather-entertaining alternative viewpoints. His comments will help achieve a fair and balanced community, and we have some fun at the same time.

This is for real...
Lepai has been renamed to "Lvpin" or 吕品 (means "dependable product" in Mandarin). So in the future if you see Lvpin amps, they are rebadged Lepais.
By the way, the word "Lepai" or 乐派 means joyful character or personality in Mandarin.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

There is a Japanese soldering products brand called Hakko. Wakko is a good idea too. 😉
OT a bit here...

I did not buy the Lepai but it is what actually got me started and interested in Class D Tripath amps. Tekko did have a hand in my purchase decision, and obviously so did KopiOkaya. Alternative views does help sometimes depending on how you take it. Tekko is quite an intelligent guy, you just need to wade through the anger in his words to get to the good information. 🙂
