This is a different type. frontpanels are made of aluminum, the body are sheet steel. body is powder coated, very nice. The benefit of steel is the cost is relatively lower than aluminum. It's can be used for DAC, Preamplifier, Power amplifier and tube gears.
REF3208:
Outside Dimension: WxHxL= 320mm x 80mm x 248mm
Inside Dimension:WxHxL = 315mm x 74mm x 236mm
Frontpanel thickness: 8mm
Back panel thickness: 3mm
body thickness: 1.2mm
material: aluminum (front and back) + Steel (body)
finish: powder coating (body), brush+hard anodized(front and back)
net weight: 3.5kg

This is not designed for audio. It's for some sort of communication equipment. But I think no audio DIYer can effort not to being attracted by it, especially for those tube gear players. It's big enough, rigid, super good looking and effortable to everyone.
Outside Size: 430 X 70 X 308
Inside Size:415 X 59 X291
Finish: fine brush, hard anodized
Thickness: F, B, T, B: 8mm, 4mm, 3mm, 3mm
Material: Aluminum
Weight: 4kg

Wow some really nice cases! 🙂
It would be nice if you post prices under pictures or description. 😉 And just a hint...you could try to optimize your website as it's pretty slow.

Hi Igor
Thanks for your suggestion. The problem is that I don't have the price when I post the images. The shop are handled by another dept, they are always slower than me. Oddly in the same country some said the website is fast, some said it's slow. I'll pass your concern to the info dept and see what they can do.

Are these being sold in China to domestic DIYers? I believe a couple of friends of mine who are working in China can buy the RE4105 and bring it back for me. Do you have a website that takes domestic orders?
Hi Natawa
You can tell your friend to contact me by email or phone, We have no problem in sending him a few.
You said RE4105 in your post. I'm assuming it should be RE4015? It's a super good looking enclosure for power amplifiers. But are you sure your friend is willing to bring a 10kg enclosure back for you?

Yeah, RE4015 what I meant to say. I'll have to find out my friend willing to mule or not. Weight is one thing, the size is another. When you ship the enclosures do you ship them disassembled?
Yes they must be disassembled and packed seperately. Your friend can pack it in a paper box and check it when taking the airplane.
I have a suggestion for your website that could help prospective customers choose a case that include heatsinks.
It would be handy if a description of the heatsink was included in the product descriptions. Things such as C/W if available or the dimentions of the sink so the customer could calculate the C/W.
Mark 🙂
PS. Looking forward to recieving the cases and headphone amp component kit on Monday.

Aha, it's you.. Your idea is great. Let me check if the data is available at the engineering dept.
Looking forward to see you in Beijing on Monday.😀

😱😱😱
Just courious how many DIY projects can you have at the same time? Most orders are 2 to 5 different enclosures since I post this topic a few days before.
2 to 5 projects running at the same time is just about right, I think. 😀

These enclosures are all bought by an Australian.. Guess what will he build with them? 😕
Why, as many as you wish. 😀
