when will this be available?
I will make the demo/sample board soon, will post the photo then.

Looking good. I have an Audio-gd DAC that swaps out a DIR9001 receiver or a Wolfson. The DIR9001 is clearly better in that DAC. Have you all considered using it? This looks to be a very fun project. How many amps will the 9V power supplies need? Any plans for some nice power supply boards to go along with the DAC? I have been wanting toi build a supper integrated and I see the HiFiMe products lending themselves very well to that project. 😀

I think WM8805 and DIR9001 are at same level, both have very low jitter. We will start with WM8805 first because I used this chip before and it's good. About 10VA PSU is ok for this DAC. And actually I'm thinking about a PSU for DAC, use a on board transformer, hope it will start at the end of this month.😉

hi, just got pcb today

I still have some part on the way😉
And hi Veggiel, it's not support I2S input.

update

Hi all. I test the cox input today, and set CS8421 to output 96kHz, it's not bad, but when I set it 192kHz, the music sound discontinuous. Also when 44.1kHz signal input, there will be some noise on output because I'm using 24.576Mhz OSC for up-sampling. And all problem is gone when CS8421 is bypassed. In general, I think it will be a good DAC. I will do more work to make it better later.

I will receive a first working sample in a few days, looking forward to try this DAC !
Thanks to everybody for feedback and advice.
This DAC will be possible to make in different versions, with/without TE7022 USB, with/without CS8421 upsampling, and with/without TCXO oscillator. This board can also be used with different DAC's (voltage output only) but we'll start with CS4398.
