People, speakers, food - looks like there was plenty of all three! I am guessing spirits (both kind) were high too! Happy to see all of you having a lovely time.
Oh man. I just missed all that good food >_<
Sounds like the EL70 was popular. I grabbed a pair of discounted used prototypes from Bob. KyleinCowichan got a pair. Etc. They are fantastic.
I had a great time. Thanks to all.
PS Dave, I think Ruth took a pic of my speakers while they were playing. I had put my camera away by then. Do you think I could get it? Thanks.

Nice to see the new ones along with the oldies. Ryan, Kevin, Kyle, Bernie, Eric, Jeff (drunk one, not shifty eye guy), Nev, Anne Marie, Lou Greg, Demetri and Brenda were all new to me.
And Dave's right the EL 70's were stand outs for me. To use an old cliche: They had no business sounding that good.
So... I bought a pair complete with the magic dashes. Chris says they should sound good in one of the Frugel horn variations.

a few pic's . . .
I really liked the little Fostex FF85WK (laying on their side in 2nd pic). That would be an excellent choice for a desktop speaker, or any other intimate setting.
In the 3rd pic, you can see Terry checking on the electrons lining up for proper presentation into the curved arrays. As always, he had them behaving well.
The rustic look of Bernie's speakers and stands really brings out the beauty of wood in its raw form. (pic 4)
The boombox is an exercise of practi-CAL-ity. 😀 Built stout (of course), components integrated nicely, and perfect for dishing up an evening-long helping of Jimmy Buffet.
Nice mix of speakers.

Forum is acting strange today. Here is a pic of Ryan's 2-way that shows the "port modification)
Ryan, i have the perfect stuff stashed away for the asking.
And the uFonken with the new FF85wk (with Bud's ministrations). These & the Alpair6P, are both killer small drivers.

One picture that didn't get taken was of the microTower bipoles with CHP70.3. They work really well, were the last set of speakers playing Saturday nite and still in the system 🙂

The aftermath. A picture from Sunday (althou much of today was similar)
A great day to sleeping, or just indoors. I've been playing records all afternoon thru my new speakers.😀
