Technics cd player - not spinning

Hi, we have a top end Technics cd player which has just stopped spinning and reads no disc, anyone any ideas please? The model is SL-PS70, would prefer to put this right instead of replacing. Love the unit, and have had it for 20 years (where did the time go???) Thank you
