Rectifier Components Group Order
Details and Instructions
Because of the many different things people seem to want with this group order i have decided to put together three seperate kits, one for just the Diodes, one for just the heatsinks (and mounting nut/bolt)and one for the snubber caps and resistors. If you wanted all of the componets to build up one board you would simply order one of each of the kits to give you everything you would need. However, it is also possible just to order the parts you are intrested in, like the heatsinks or diodes.
If people would add their names to the list below indicating which of the types of kits they would like to order and then update the totals for each column that would be great.
Component Choices
Diodes: 4 in one kit,
[BTW99W-200] Dual fast recovery rectifier diode (as are apparently used in current PASS amps)
Heatsinks: 4 heat sinks and 4 nuts and bolts in one kit,
Probably Wakefield Engineering type 637-20ABP (almost the same as Fischer
[SK104 50,8 STS] part), but I'm not sure how acurate the information on their
[datasheet] is regarding thermal resistance (I would be more inclined to believe the Fischer quote of 9K/W)
Resistors and Capacitors: 4 of each in one kit,
TruOhm
? MF60, 0.6W 1% Metal Film resistors (100 ohms in value)
BC Components
[3382 series] Metalised Polyproplylene class X2 Suppression Capacitors (100nF in value)
Kapton washers: for TO-247 devices, best quality available, thermal res. of 0,07 K/W, also useful for your power fets of course
Kit Prices
For Kit one, the four diodes, the price will initialy be
�6.20 (GBP) with a possible drop to �4.50 if 100 of the kits are to be ordered (a minimum of 100 diodes - 25 kits - must be ordered to get this starting price of �6.20, and if this is not the case I doubt it would be worth while for me putting the diode order through as a group, so we need to hit at least this amount for the order).
Edit: there are enough orders now for the price of the diodes to drop down to �5.40 for four (and possibly drop a little lower still depending on the order numbers)
For Kit two, the four heatsinks and mounting hardware the price will be
�3.60.(this may now drop down a bit as Michi124 has a possible cheeper source direct from Fischer in Germany :) )
I'm fairly sure that the price for these will now only be �3.20 for the kit of four, so things should be a bit cheeper than you may have tought :)
For kit three, the four caps and resistors the price will be
�1.10
Kapton washers, price is
�0.28 each
Instructions and Quantities
I would like to have this order placed before my finals start in a few weeks, so that the parts are arriving before my exams and I can send them out as soon as I get them (and before I start to panic and ignore all the parcels people will be sending me)
The order is now closed and I should be sending out final payment totals in the next day or two. I would appreciate it if all payments could be made before the 11th of April, so that I can get the component orders in as soon as possible.
I would prefer Paypal for the payments on this (in GBP to make things easier for me to keep track of) as I am rather bussy comming up to the exams. However I would be willing to accept personal cheques drawn on a UK bank in GBP, or a direct bank transfer in GBP. If you are unable to use any of the methods already mention but would still like to take part in the group buy, please contact me to try nad arange a payment method before adding yourself to the list below.
To add your odred simply add an extra collum to the table below with how many of each kit you would like to have, you username, and which country you are in. Also, if you could update the totals at the bottom as wel that would be great.
