MOX

You can find the details around this X-over in this threat https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=337360#post337360. It is designed by moamps Moamp has as well Opamp-Boards designed.

The purpose of this Wiki is to understand first of all the demand of the community for the boards. It is not yet clear, who will actually make the boards and distribute them, but once we understood demand, we understand costs and we understand if someone is willing to take the initiative like Hifizen did it with the Aleph-X-Boards.

Therefore I suggest we count the numbers of filterboards (HP/LP), discrete (!) opamps (one per filter-board plus buffers, and regulators (if desired). So, let's take the example of a 2-way-12db-X-over with balanced output, this would mean (per channel):

- 1 opa as input-buffer
- 1 HP/1 LP
- 2 opa for the filter-board
- 2 opa for outputbuffer

So, for stereo we need 10 opa, 2HP, 2LP, 2 regs.

For 3-way this would mean:

- 1 opa as input-buffer
- 2 HP/2 LP
- 4 opa for the filter-board
- 2 opa for outputbuffer

So, for stereo we need 14 opa, 4HP, 4LP, 2 regs.

In order to have better clarity what the final product should look like (and the final pcb) and to understand the level of demand I suggest the following format:

- Blitz: 1 stereo two-way 12db balanced; 1 stereo three way 12db balanced; 1 stereo two-way 18db balanced: 38 opa, 10 HP, 10LP, 6 regs plus treble-boost

Cobra2: 2 stereo 2-way 12dB balanced; 20 opa, 4HP, 4LP, 4 regs. (+3-way?)

Andypairo: 1 stereo 2-way 12 dB balanced; 10 opa, 2HP, 2LP, 2 regs.

Steve: 1 stereo 2-way 12 db balanced; 10 opa, 2hp, 2lp, 2 regs.

TooL?49: 6 stereo 2-way 12 db balanced 6 hp, 6 lp, 6 regs

Promitheus: 2 Stereo 2 Way 12 dB balanced; 20 opa, 4 HP, 4 LP, 4 regs. One board would be an advantage at least for each channel

Roddyama: 1 stereo 3-way Asymetric/12db balanced not required; 20 opa, 4 HP, 6 LP, 2 regs.

Sayang: 4 stereo 3-way; opa, HP, LP, Reg

Jonk: 1 stereo 2 way 12db balanced: 10 opa, 2 HP, 2 LP.

audionut: 2 stereo two way 12db single ended: for stereo we need 20 opa, 4HP, 4LP, 4 regs.

Luke: 1 Stereo 3-way 12db balanced: 14 opa, 4HP, 4LP, 2 regs.

Tensop: 1 stereo 2 way, 12 db balanced(unbalanced if possible)10 opa, 2HP, 2LP, 2 regs

JoeM?: 1 Stereo 3 way 24dB balanced. 22 opa,8HP,4LP,2Regs

Ian: 1 stereo 4 way 6/12/18 balanced 2 regs 12HP, 12LP, 42 opamps 2 regs
