Does the "24 Mhz" listed on the top line means it's sampling with 24 Mhz ? Then it's kinda useless....
You are absolutely right. That's the maximum possible sample rate for this logic analyzer.... It should be at least x4 the sampled freq. My mistake...
soren thank you very much for the firmware release but i see users talking about no sound output. Is there anything to be updated in the firmware?
Are you using the BBB I2S output to your DAM?Well that capture is taken while the DAM had locked on signal and sound was playing. More to that in the measured setup MCLK was coming out of DAM to the beaglebone black which is slaved on the DAM. Could you please explain what you mean by locking to new clock? (Forgive my ignorance on this but I thought that MCLK should be steady clocking while locked on the signal)
I was thinking of doing the same set up in a while.
Would you mind sharing your set up BBB which caps are used to connect it to DAM I2S

You can connect them without a cap.
I am getting no sound with 1.03. Seems to lock according to LED though. I get his on power up :
R1.03
I3
L000
F4
V+00
I3
I1
L044
input is via SPDIF via Normundus V1 input board. Power is +10V from Salas BIB. +/-5v analog from another Salas BIB. Mute disconnected (input transistor on mute circuit pulled up with ~ 10k resistor to V+).
Works OK if I revert to 0.99. v1 DAM1021.

Hi,
Can you tell me where did you disconnect the mute circuit? Or about when did this post been mentioned?
Thanks
v1.03 works like a charm here. RPI2 i2s direct into the dam. Running picoreplayer v2.01

Ok, seems a last minute error got into my fpga code, affecting SPDIF input only, will release 1.04 later today....
Firmware version 1.04 is now up on http://www.soekris.dk/download.html
There are now full DSD support, up to DoP128 and DSD256, depending on the used USB to I2S interface.
Pinout for DSD is per de facto standard:
I2S bclk -> DSD Bit Clock
I2S lrclk -> DSD Left Data
I2S dat -> DSD Right Data
The issue on version 1.03 with no output on SPDIF should be fixed now, could people having the issue please report back.

Except these three pins, which pin required to connect for Amanero Combo 384?
"DSD on" on Amanero Combo 384 not required?
The board can identify which signal format (PCM/DSD) to be decoded?

Nothing else, the dam1021 do auto detect between DSD and PCM.
I succeeded. 🙂 With TASCAM Hi-Res Editor you can make DSD test files.Anyone have DSD test file, or how to make test files, 1000 Hz tones, etc ...
Thanks.

1.04 version fixed the 'no sound' issue, all is well. Thank you Soren 🙂

Sommetimes it gets hard to connect with "+++" no matter how many times I write the command I don´t get connected.
But on poweron I get:
R1.04
I3
L000
F5
V+00
I3
I1
V-01
L044
Its not just with the R1.04 it´s 0.99 to and all others...
