VSSA Lateral MosFet Amplifier

Hi LC,
Now maybe we can go on with the long awaited enclosures 😀

cheers

Yes, yes, I remember my promise. The problem is that I need at least 20 cases or more as confirmed order, otherwise my producer won't even start the production (his words).

So these metal cases orders would really be a serious stuff to start with, I don't need any new problems in my life which I don't have now. :faint:

Only firm, advanced payed orders would come in to consideration. :judge:

So the killer question... When can we buy some modules? 😀

Congrats on the reviews, you deserve it!

Do

Thanks, you're too kind. 🙂

Well I don't know about the First One amp modules, what should I do with it. 🙄

I can only tell you that the First One (with a proper power supply) is a real killer amp, so transparent and dynamic that blows your mind, no limits regarding resolution.

Warm cozy "soldering iron off mode" audio chatter this evening i enjoy. Andrej your words in post #2741, i wish/hope :faint: will let you breathe and enjoy life 🙂.
If someone not seen the "VSSA 50" thread here is a link to post #44 looking under the hood of First One in prestage with nice huge PSU's (Link: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/solid-state/239708-vssa-50-a-5.html#post3598917), going backwards in that thread can discover more teasers when First One was born.

Hi atupi

Installation manual describes exactly how components should be mounted. All parts are firmly in close contact to PCB. VAS transistors T5, T6 have 2 mm plastic spacers between them and PCB. Mechanically is very compact module when all assembled.

Regards L.C.

Having completed the stereo amp recently, I can say that VSSA certainly does not lack bass, au contraire, with my small test power supply I feared my Paradigm Monitors would be dissassembled by some double-bass lines 😱

Now I have to build the case for it 🙁

A thousand thanks to LC for his generosity in sharing!

Cheers,
M.

PS: which Vishay 10uF film cap is the recommended, again?

I saw those cases from Lazy cat: amazing work, and worth the every cent. I was browsing over net some time, and didn't find anything even close to that.

Also, I've been on that hifi show, and Andrej did very good job, his amps was or are really impresive, best on show.
