Is one of the inputs a bypass input(signal in will be uneffected by volume control) so It can be used as a home theater-bypass??

sorry CustomHT, I reserved no bypass input,because the volume control is excellent enough for any audio applications ^_^ the input voltage range up to 10Vrms when you set the attenuation to 0dB,the module still provides low distortion signal and even it accept 20Vrms input signal when you set the attenuation to -20dB I most applications,the module can be deemed to a straight line when you set the volume attenuation to 0 dB maybe a pass through is the best, but maybe w/o a pass through is no the matter ^_^ thank you

w/o any capacitor in the audio signal
assembled kit needs only addtional DC PSU +14/-14 @ 0.2A easy to setup

Test result added
fully THD+N VS AMPLITUDE test 750 ohm loaded @ each phase of balanced A-weighting 1mV to 16Vrms sweep the blue line is the Residual performance the green line shows the performance of this KIT ![]() the gragh shows that the THD+N of R-2R VCS KIT is -110dB@5Vrms,only 1uV residual noise!
