Hi,
EAW speakers seem to make a line of speakers suited to pubic venues.
You have to state the model you want to add subwoofers to, and to be
frank given the nature of EAW speakers, why some form of DIY build
will work as opposed to the subwoofers EAW would suggest.
rgds, sreten.

ahhhhh bass bin! Speakers don't go into a box to die , they go in to come alive😉 ( except for too much power🙂!

I suspect your best bet will be to contact a B&C representative, or maybe B&C themselves, and asking them if a commercial cabinet is available - and if not, who, locally, can make one.
good luck!
good luck!
Great pair of drivers to start with....if you need some LOUD bass! be prepared for what might come out of those bass bins as a result!! 😀
You might want to try the one of B&C's own design of subwoofer enclosure that is designed specifically for this driver. It is only a simple reflex box, but with an 18 inch driver and driven with enough power, it can go as low as 35Hz with pretty impressive SPL's (sound levels). Plenty of people on a live sound forum I am a member of have built this box and say, whilst it is quite large (any box for an 18 inch driver will be really) it can produce a really impressive amount/level of bass of a very good quality as well.

Nat, Are you and your friends looking to build a box from scratch with speaker box plans? How much time do you have? Do any of your friends have a woodshop/equipment?

Yes we are looking to build from scratch with a speaker plan similar to the one I post ealier. He will be coming home little over a month.
Hi Nathenry,
If you are looking for a Push-Pull bass-reflex enclosure (Post #13), maybe take a look at this thread: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/subwoofers/177905-thread-those-interested-ppsl-enclosures.html.
Also, when looking at this driver in a BR (bass-reflex) in Hornresp, it looks like the factory enclosure can re reduced a bit in volume. This may be helpful if you are going to build a multiple driver enclosure.
Regards,

We try to read the link for the A Thread for those interested in PPSL enclosures but i dont understand it at all.Something with nice low bass, nice spl and low distortion will be good.
which of those design below is better all round, i ask this question because I dont have any speaker knowledge.
Thanks for all help people.

Not wanting to push the design too much, but the SUB18 plans provide all of this and, being a simple reflex box, they aren't that difficult to build at all, compared to other designs. Also, they only use one driver per box, so you will be able to make two and use them as stereo subs for even higher SPL's.
TB46/s plans are good (pic on post 10 plans on 28/33), a cut away would be nice to show the depth of the inter box (speakers) and how the ports interact.
Looks like a good build, some what easy, no angles, etc.

Ok we will go with Oliver plan it is a bit smaller and play lower bass
Oliver,
Your graph chart show that the speaker will play down to 35hz and up that is prefect. The bass coffin size can be 25Hx22WX30D. Can you show a drawing to build from.
Thanks
